ABOUT ME

Come look inside for art that starts the heart.

Hi, I'm Michelle Hargrove, a native Hawaiian-American born in 1998. My art is influenced by Texas coastlands and the mountainous Colorado. I create art from the heart that is meant to connect emotionally. My work is mainly abstract art across various mediums that will distract and delight. Key works include abstract herons painted in acrylic, or abstract poppies done in watercolor, and nautical creatures in gouache. Key themes are flowers connected to specific memories and places, nature in an artificial world, and love within religion. I studied political science, and am mostly a self taught artist. I learn from old books giving my art a familial look.
